The firm’s founder, Rodney L Rastall began his career in Civil Engineering. Just for fun, he tried out for a shift on a college radio station. He was hooked, changed his major to Communications and soon moved onto to paying gigs, including producing programs for NPR’s “All Things Considered”. From radio, he moved onto visual media, becoming became an expert producer of meetings and tradeshows for the hospitality industry. He then branched-out into producing training programs for one of the country’s largest utility companies. He became heavily involved with medical marketing in 1991, beginning as a technical writer and producer with Smith & Nephew. Working closely with surgeon designers and mechanical engineers, he developed an in-depth knowledge of the form and function of implants and trauma products. He wrote and/or produced a wide variety of print and multimedia, as well as ramping up the size and complexity of the meetings he produced.

He later joined a local ad agency in Memphis, TN until he realized his true potential could only be found through running his own company. In September of 2000, he formed HanaHawk Communications Inc. Our size and client list has grown ever since.
